    At Benchmark Camp, world-renowned academics and a beloved recreation program (including swimming, art, science, sports, and zipline) create a transformational summer. Benchmark Camp builds executive function skills, self-esteem, and confidence and is especially beneficial for bright children with dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, or other learning differences. Grades 1-6.     With 54-acres of fun, there’s something for every child and teen at Camp UMLY! Located in Berwyn, the Upper Main Line YMCA (UMLY) includes swimming pools, sports fields, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, tennis courts, street hockey rinks, an outdoor stage, music studio, dance studio, nature center, barnyard and farm, STEM lab and more than five miles of trails within a nature preserve. Our highest priority is protecting the health and safety of your children, our staff and our members. Our health and safety procedures are rooted in the latest directives and recommendations provided by the Centers for Disease Control, the American Camping Association and the State of Pennsylvania to create the safest environment possible. Weekly themes and activities keep camp fun and interesting. Traditional camps, as well as specialty camps in arts, theater, dance, music, environmental and stem, tennis and sports available.     For over 35 years kids who are inspired by technology come from near and far for high quality technology education balanced with fun summer camp activities. Experience the Emagination difference — one or two-week sessions, multiple tech courses per session, in-person teaching (no online tutorials) indoor and outdoor games. Emagination’s campers take multiple technology courses plus experience the benefits of summer camp including a sense of belonging and opportunities for social development, creative expression, independence and contributing to the camp community. Emagination also offers Emagination Coding Camp, where teens 13 – 17 learn to code using Java.

    Penn Charter Summer Camps will be in-person this summer with many of your favorite camps as well as some new ones, all of which will follow CDC guidelines for a safe, fun-filled summer experience. The fundamental purpose of Day Camp, ages 3-14, is to provide a happy, productive summer for children. The companionship of peers and the leadership of trained counselors attuned to the physical, social and emotional needs of children enrich the experience. Activities include: instructional swim, free swim, tennis, art, archery, music, dance, drama, sports and games, electives and a summer theme. Sports Camp, ages 6-14, is designed for the athlete who truly loves sports. Open to the beginner, intermediate and advanced athlete, the camp offers instruction, competition, coaching, games and fun in eight sports a week. Performing Arts Camp, ages 6-14, is redesigned to offer a creative and safe experience. Campers will participate in daily music, dance, drama and design classes and will work on performance projects throughout the week that revolve around a fun weekly theme. Camp is divided into four separate one-week sessions, and campers can sign up for as many weeks as they wish. Varsity Camps that offer advanced instruction by varsity coaches will return with squash, baseball, basketball and soccer. Campers will experience skill development, drills, game play, conditioning, fitness and motivation. Girls Empowerment Camp combines creative arts, physical challenge, community service, team-building activities and self-reflection to provide girls with an opportunity to build confidence and step outside of their comfort zones.     Summer Friends at Media Providence Friends School

    Summer Friends at MPFS is set to return for the 2021 season! Summer Friends runs from June 21-August 20, 2021 and provides children ages 3-10 (preschool – entering fifth grade) with an opportunity to participate in weekly thematic units taught by experienced counselors and certified elementary teachers. Weekly themes may include Nature Week, Magic Week, Sports Week, and Drama Week. Children enjoy the freedom of summer in a welcoming, safe, and relaxed environment. Enriching on-site programs are complemented by field trips* to museums, zoos, and other local venues. Twice weekly, campers participate in instructional and recreational swimming at Knowlton Swim Club with certified water safety instructors. The campers at Summer Friends are free to explore, play, and express themselves in the safe and nurturing environment found year-round at Media-Providence Friends School. COVID-19 precautions will be in place and group size will be limited. Smaller groups allow for meaningful interaction with teachers as well as other children of similar ages and all activities are tailored for campers’ developmental and physical levels. The children at Summer Friends participate in a wide variety of experiences that help them shape their vision of the people and the world around them. COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS This summer, counselors, staff, and campers will observe COVID-19 precautions to assure that everyone has a safe and fun summer. These safety measures will include reduced class sizes, wearing face masks, daily temperature checks, frequent hand washing and sanitizing of surfaces, and social distancing while indoors. *Please note: field trips and all off-site activities will be assessed on a case-by-case basis given current COVID-19 restrictions. Registrations received after May 15 will include a $75 late fee. Siblings receive a 10% discount on camp registrations!
