Grandparents University: Two Generations Learn & Laugh in a Family Camp on Campus
Grandchildren are stars to many grandparents. In West Chester University’s Grandparents University, both generations can learn, seated side by side, about becoming TV news stars in one of 12 courses offered.
Three days and two nights of bonding between grandparents and their grandchildren. Living in the University’s newest residence halls, sharing meals at the dining hall, attending interactive classes, exploring campus, and enjoying nightly entertainment. Classes range from creating a TV newscast, making robots, ropes adventure course, wellness, creative writing, money matters, and even “The Art of Laziness” with tai chi.

Registration Costs – for families staying in the residence halls
– $295 per grandparent
– $195 first grandchild / $145 for each additional grandchild (Ages 7 – 13)
– Linens: $15 per/person. All meals included.
