Evening Paper Marbling Workshop in Historic Sugartown’s Bindery

Marbling is the art of floating and designing watercolors on a base fluid then permanently transferring the design to paper. Colonial Williamsburg-trained instructor, Ramon Townsend of ColonialBindery.com, will lead the class through the steps of this ancient art. Participants will take home their finished paper creations.

Historic Sugartown, Inc., is a private, nonprofit organization committed to protecting the 19th-century village of Sugartown. Located at the corner of Sugartown, Boot and Spring Roads in Malvern, Historic Sugartown protects nine historic structures and 9.2 acres that once made up the 19th-century village. Guided tours of the village are available on weekends from May through November, as well as by appointment.
