Valley Forge Chorus - Revolutionary A Cappella
Valley Forge Chorus (“VFC”) has been entertaining audiences in the Delaware County for over 50 years with its high energy a cappella harmonies and stunning visual performances. We combine thrilling harmonies with energetic choreography to create an unforgettable audience experience. Our inspirational repertoire includes show tunes, patriotic, sacred music, along with gospel, pop, barbershop and jazz.
Our members are beautifully unique – with celebrated and diverse backgrounds, of all different ages and occupations – all universally connected through song. Whether you sang years ago and long to perform again, or are still the first to sign up for karaoke, there is a place for you in our chorus!
Each week we come together at chorus rehearsal to share in life and music. As a member of Valley Forge Chorus, the music and friendship will transform your life. Women whose paths never would have crossed are now family. By challenging themselves musically, Valley Forge Chorus develops an unyielding confidence that rolls over into their everyday lives. Members find and reach their full potential musically – and individually.
Whether you are looking to sing on the risers, perform in your community, or compete your voice has a place in our chorus! With more than 30 members, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved! There is no time like the present – come sing with us!
In addition to sharing our music another great passion of ours is learning more about the art of a cappella singing. Vocal instruction is a regular part of chorus rehearsals, and is a very important component of the chorus experience. A couple of times a year, we’re coached by visiting Master Directors who demonstrate the art of four part harmonizing and teach us the fabulous tricks of the trade.
