Group discussions are led by patrons/staff from the center who have been “down the path” already and are going to walk us around their topic. It is very informal with sharing from the group. Everyone learns something new as we share our knowledge.
Using oral history, DNA and FAN approach genealogy research to break down a 130 year old brick wall! The line had been lost to the family since 1880. Participants can use their devices to practice DNA ( ancestryDNA) and genealogy research strategies.
