Merwood Park July 4th Parade

Come celebrate the Fourth of July with your family and friends at Merwood Park. The annual parade will begin at Oakmont School at 10am. The parade will travel down Hathway Lane to Merwood Lane and turn right, then a left onto Cherry Lane and a left on Wynnefield Drive where it will then finish in the park. We welcome you to line the parade route to cheer on all participants.

Field games for the kids will begin at 10:45. For all the kids at heart there will also be a mens and womens 40 yard dash. Start stretching now! Games will conclude with the ever so popular egg toss and water balloon toss.

Lunch will be provided starting at noon with a water ice treat after.

If you haven’t had enough yet, the most exciting event of the day, the Merwood Park Duck race. Who’s duck will be first to cross the finish line. This is a don’t miss event as we see what obstacles the ducks can avoid and which duck will find the current to lead them to victory!
