Downsizing or Discarding: Are You Throwing Away Treasure?

Phoenixville Public Library will host a free, lively and entertaining program with certified appraiser Leon Castner, “Downsizing or Discarding: Are You Throwing Away Treasure?” on Thursday, December 1 at 6:30 PM.  Leon will give a short presentation on what’s hot and what’s not in the world of antiques and collectibles and what you should throw away or keep.  Attendees may also bring one item for a free evaluation by Leon in a theater-type presentation, as you learn the secrets of today’s antique market.  Leon Castner is an award-winning appraiser and educator and a certified member of the International Society of Appraisers (ISA).  He is President of Castner Estate Service, Inc. and Senior Partner at National Appraisal Consultants LLC, both of Schwenksville, PA.  This event is free and open to the public.  Registration is required at https://ccls.libcal.com/calendar/Phoenixville/downsizing-or-discarding or by calling 610-933-3013 x132.  For more information, email Mark Pinto, the Library’s Adult Services Director, at mpinto@ccls.org.  Phoenixville Public Library is located at 183 Second Avenue, Phoenixville, PA.
