Crayfish Corps Day with the Valley Forge Park Alliance

Join the Valley Forge Park Alliance for a fun and splashy morning of learning and making a difference at Valley Forge National Historical Park.  Work alongside Park staff to remove invasive rusty crayfish that invaded Valley Creek in 2008.  All participants receive Crayfish Corps buttons.  Register at info@vfparkalliance.org.  Wednesday, August 22, 9 am – Noon, Valley Creek, Closed-toe shoes required, Free event, Advanced registration required by August 20 — limit 30.

The VFPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring appreciation of and support for Valley Forge National Historical Park.  We enhance the visitor experience by raising funds to restore historical landmarks.  We also provide informal education programs and engage the community via various events.
