Barks and Brews

Dust off your lederhosen and beer steins and head to the Brandywine River Museum of Art for an outdoor Oktoberfest celebration in the Museum’s courtyard. Family, friends and canine companions are all welcome. Enjoy a selection of craft beers from a local brewery, plus wine and soft drinks; dine on a delectable menu of German-inspired fare by Chef Mike Kline, Executive Chef of the Brandywine’s Millstone Café; and tap your feet to live music by the Moondawgs And speaking of dogs, be sure to bring your favorite pooch along for the fun—bonus barking points for Oktoberfest dog costumes! Brandywine volunteers will be on-hand to dog sit well-behaved pets for owners who wish to visit the Museum’s galleries.
