2024 Twilight Run & Walk

The Twilight Run & Walk is a fun event for the entire family. Kids and adults who want to test their mettle in an early spring run can run the Twilight 5K where Darby Road will be closed to traffic. Elementary school competitors, parents with strollers, and youngsters ready to participate in their first timed race can participate in the Elementary School One-Mile Challenge. The 5K Walk also provides a great opportunity for non-runners to get out and get some exercise along picturesque Darby Road.

Proceeds of the Twilight Run event benefit the Haverford Township School District Education Foundation’s Mini and Empowermennt Grant program with a mission is to fund innovative learning opportunities that inspire Haverford students. Since its inception in 2004, the non-profit Haverford Township School District Education Foundation has awarded more than 200 grants for innovative learning opportunities like: Discover Day, \”One School, One Book”, author visits, academic assemblies, robotics courses, community
gardens, Art in the Classroom, math and reading learning centers, Yoga Kids, Best Buddies, Artist in Residence programs, audio books, PAWS for Reading, 3D printing, and much more.
