Honeybees are kept in the Harriton Park, and our annual public beekeeping program will be held on Saturday July, 20th, 2019, 11 am- 1pm – weather permitting.
Adults and children can try on beesuits, visit the hives, and help extract honey. Come and learn about the importance of the honeybee to our landscape and to our food supply.
