Chester County CHADD (Children & Adults with Hyperactivity & Attention Deficit Disorder) and Mainline CHADD are local chapters of the national CHADD. The local chapters provide leadership, advocacy and support to families of children, adults and their partners, teenagers, and others living with ADD/ADHD. A support group for parents of allergic children, F.E.A.S.T. meets monthly at the Memorial Library of Radnor Township and shares information via email between meetings. Topics of discussion include dealing with allergies in schools, sharing recipes and product suggestions, allergy testing, and handling different situations including restaurants, parties, etc. Past guest speakers have addressed new medications, alternative therapies, and nutrition. GSEP serves over 42,000 girls ages five through 17 in Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, and Philadelphia Counties. GSEP was chartered on May 1, 2007. We are a volunteer-based non-profit organization with over 14,000 adult volunteers. Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania, an “early adopter” of the realignment movement led by GSUSA, was created by a merger on April 28, 2007 between the Girl Scouts of Freedom Valley, Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Great Valley Councils. The merger became effective on May 1, 2007.

MOPS stands for " Mothers of Preschoolers." The Main Line MOPS welcomes moms with children from the ages of infancy to kindergarten. We meet in Wayne at the Church of the Saviour, 9:15-11:30am from Sep. - May on the first Thursday of the month (except in Sep. and Jan. when we meet on the 2nd Thursday). We have special event outings as well. Our meetings include refreshments, a guest speaker, small group discussion with other area moms, and creative activities. The Main Line Newcomers Club is a social club for women of all ages who life on or near Philadelphia's Main Line. We call ourselves newcomers, but there is no requirement for your length of stay. Some of our members have lived here only a few months, others have lived here for any number of years, and a few have never lived anyplace else. Planned Lifetime Assistance Network of Pennsylvania, also known as PLAN of PA,
is a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve people with mental disabilities including mental illness, mental retardation, brain injury, and autism. PLAN of PA serves families in the greater Philadelphia area. PLAN of PA helps answer the question asked by many families, "Who will oversee the care of my mentally disabled family member when I am no longer able to do so?" PLAN of PA helps organize a program to provide assistance to the mentally disabled family member when the family is no longer able to, and in many instances, assists the family during the latter's lifetime.
