For over 40 years, the Domestic Violence Center of Chester County (DVCCC) has utilized a comprehensive approach to ensure that one day, domestic violence will be a horror of the past. The vision of DVCCC is ambitious: Eliminate domestic violence in Chester County. While this goal may sound unachievable, we engage practical solutions to systematically reduce the harm that domestic violence causes to individuals, families, and communities. Under the guidance of strong leadership and governance structures, DVCCC employs innovative and effective programs and services to intervene in, prevent, and educate the community on domestic violence in Chester County. These programs include trauma-informed counseling, housing, children’s programs, legal advocacy, and our two evidence-based programs: Lethality Assessment Program (LAP) and Coaching Boys Into Men (CBIM). We are the only organization in Chester County contracted by the PA Department of Human Services and PCADV to provide services solely to victims of domestic violence and their dependent children. Our free and confidential services are provided to all domestic violence survivors regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or age.
