Community Arts Phoenixville is an arts organization located in the heart of downtown Phoenixville, PA.
It is the mission of CAP to nurture creative and community living by providing quality art classes, workshops, programs, events, and exhibitions.

Our Vision
Community Arts Phoenixville is founded on the belief that art strengthens the bonds between people, builds relationships and community, and nourishes the soul. It is our mission to live out these beliefs in the Phoenixville community through providing quality art education, exhibitions, and community building events.

We are excited to be located in the heart of thriving Phoenixville; home to many artists, crafters, entrepreneurs, and dreamers. It’s this wonderful blend of people that lead Phoenixville’s diverse array of small businesses, restaurants, breweries, community organizations, festivals, and events. Located right along the Schuylkill River Trail and 30 miles from central Philadelphia, Phoenixville is a cultural hub in a scenic landscape.

Our Origins
Community Arts Phoenixville is an enterprise within the larger organization Camphill Soltane.

Camphill Soltane was founded in Chester County in 1988 with the mission of creating more choices and opportunities for young adults with special needs. Some values that have always been core to Camphill Soltane include: providing care and consideration to all people, regardless of background or ability; creating community contexts where natural relationships can grow and thrive; and encouraging creative exploration for all who engage our communities. Through Community Arts Phoenixville, Camphill Soltane hopes to bring these values to the larger community.
