The Delaware County Press Club presents a Happy Hour and Short Film Screening with special guest, local director Kyle B. Thompson, in association with Media Arts Council (MAC) on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 5 – 7 p.m. at 11 E. State Street, Media, Pa.

Guests will enjoy light fare and drinks from 5 – 6 p.m. then a program of short films from the multi-award-winning team of filmmakers at Red Flight Pictures including “Parrot” by local director Kyle B. Thompson. Inspired by true events, “Parrot” is about a drag queen who protects a child during a crisis as prejudices reach a breaking point. Thompson and some of the cast and crew will hold a Q & A after the screening.

Additionally, attendees will find out about the 2023 Media Film Festival and learn about the programs, exhibits, and classes taking place at MAC’s new home on State Street in Media.

All Press Club events are open to the public. Tickets for the Happy Hour and Film Screening are $25 for members and $30 for nonmembers and walk-ins. Reservations are recommended but guests may also pay by cash, check, or credit card at the door.
