2) Choosing between food or education: what food insecurity on college campuses looks like today. 10:15am-11:15am
Nazun, a national leadership development organization focused on equipping the next generation to fight food insecurity on college campuses, wants you to know that 39% of four year students experience food insecurity every year they’re in school. Join CEO Rebecca Bar to learn more about who today’s college students are, what they are experiencing, and what you can do to help, alongside the 60+ campus and community chapters nationwide. 3) Countering climate mis/disinformation in conversations and in the media. 10:30am-12pm
We will focus on how to respond to wrong climate statements 1) in conversations when we hear misinformation from our families and colleagues and 2) climate disinformation from the media.
