Tri-County Concerts presents violin virtuoso SooBeen Lee - Virtually

Presented by Tri-County Concerts Association at Online/Virtual Space

Our Emerging Artists Series continues with violinist SooBeen Lee performing virtually with pianist Dina Vainshtein.  The colorful program of Mozart, Beethoven, and Debussy sonatas and Hubay’s Carmen Fantasie showcases SooBeen’s “superb technique and musical sensitivities” (The Washington Post).  Watch this virtual concert anytime through December 13 on a pay-what-you-wish basis at www.tricountyconcerts.org/emerging_artists.

SooBeen was hailed as “Korea’s hottest violin prodigy” when she was 12 (Korea JoongAng Daily) and has won competitions and delighted audiences and critics around the world both before and since.  She has performed for the Secretary General of the United Nations, the King and Queen of Malaysia, and many state guests in Korea, and also appeared as soloist with every major Korean and multiple U.S. orchestras.  She won the 2014 Young Concert Artists International Auditions and the 2013 Moscow International David Oistrakh Violin and European Union of Music Competitions as well as many others.  She now studies with Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory.
