The “Ardmore Night” grand re-opening event on Friday, November 4 will allow Main Line locals to get the first look at the new location of The Living Room. The award-winning, BYOB live music venue is reopening in a new, custom-built location in tandem with the new Cricket Cafe, both located at 104 Cricket Avenue in Ardmore.

A 5 p.m. ribbon cutting with local officials will be followed by an open house starting at 5:30 p.m. featuring free menu samples and beverages, and door prizes contributed by Merion Art, Rowen clothing shop, Shade & Seeker Beauty Studio, and other Ardmore businesses.

The former location of Stuard’s Funeral Directors has been transformed into a permanent home for The Living Room, which offers comfortable lounge seating for live music, comedy and other performances with a 150-person capacity, and the adjoining, all-new Cricket Cafe, which offers California-inspired, homemade snacks, light meals, desserts and non-alcoholic beverages from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
