Join author C.J. McGroarty 2-4 p.m. Sun., Sept. 25, at Historic Waynesborough in Paoli as she reads from her new novel, Clara in a Time of War, and discusses the inspiration and history behind it. The story is set in Chester County during the Revolutionary War and features a strong and determined woman fighting to survive while her husband is off in the fight.

Two special guests will be on hand in period attire. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free. Books will be available for purchase.
