Radnor Memorial Library’s Elves for the Shelves 5K and Fun Run invites library supporters of all ages (furry friends too!) to run or walk in support of the library. Funds raised through this event support the mission of Radnor Memorial Library to be the community’s destination for discovery – a place for cultural and intellectual enrichment and life-long learning.
Our official 5K race and Fun Run will take place on Saturday, December 3 at 8am. The start and finish line will be outside Radnor Memorial Library, 114 West Wayne Avenue, Wayne, PA. The race will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Race Company. Prizes for the 5K will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group.

We’ve also planned a Fun Run (approximately 1 mile) for those who prefer to go a shorter distance! The Fun Run will begin immediately following the 5K start.

Santa will be in attendance and prizes will be awarded for creative costuming!

DONATIONS are welcome! With your $300 donation you will be recognized as a “Family Sponsor.” Family Sponsors will be recognized on event signage and on our website. Family Sponsors who submit their donation by October 29 will also be recognized on event t-shirts. Or, with your $100 donation you will be recognized as an “Elf of Encouragement.” Elves of Encouragement will also be recognized on signage and the website.
