The work of nationally recognized, local fine artist, John Dorchester, will be on display in a one-person show from October 3 – December 30. The Opening is October 7, from 5-7PM
30 paintings of nationally recognized Pennsylvania fine artist, John R. Carleton Dorchester, will be on display, from October through the end of the year, on the first floor exhibition space of the 919 building in Wilmington. Mr. Dorchester is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and his work as garnered numerous awards, both at the Academy and over an adventurous career in the arts that has spanned almost 40 years. His work is represented in collections on the east and west coasts of the United States and Canada. The 919 building currently is exhibiting works from the Delaware Contemporary Art Institute. That show ends September 29.
