CRC Watersheds Association Science on Tap

Presented by CHESTER RIDLEY CRUM WATERSHEDS ASSOCIATION at 2SP Brewing Company

CRC Watersheds hosts its popular Science on Tap Thursday, Oct. 28 at 7pm at 2SP Brewing Company.

After a year of waiting, the Chester Ridley Crum Watersheds Association (CRC) will once again host its popular annual evening of learning and fun, Science on Tap on October 28 from 7 – 9 p.m.  Eel expert Ann Faulds will take guests on an expedition that follows the life of the American eel, highlighting the perils eels encounter along their 1,000-mile journey from the Sargasso Sea to the tributaries of the Chester, Ridley, and Crum creeks.  Faulds is an aquatic biologist with 30 years’ experience in aquatic resource education and formerly led the PA Sea Grant Office Delaware River Program.

2SP Brewery will be serving a variety of their beers, including some fall favorites, and CRC will serve hearty autumn snacks.  The first beer is included with the price of the $25 ticket.

To accommodate more guests this year, Science on Tap – which is always sold out – will be held in the large and open “backroom” at 2SP where the beer is brewed.  Weather permitting, the garage doors will remain open.  CRC is requesting that attendees be vaccinated.

CRC is a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to protect, conserve and restore the natural resources of the Chester, Ridley and Crum creek watersheds.  2SP Brewery is located in Aston, 10 minutes from downtown Media.

Tickets to Science on Tap are available from the CRC website at crcwatersheds.org.
