Radnor Memorial Library’s Elves for the Shelves 5K, Fun Run and Move-A-Thon invites library supporters of all ages (furry friends too!) to move about in support of the library. We are proud to offer sponsors and other supporters an event that offers 2 weeks of fun!

Funds raised through this event support the mission of Radnor Memorial Library to be the community’s destination for discovery – a place for cultural and intellectual enrichment and life-long learning.

5K and Fun Run (in-person events)
Our official 5K race and Fun Run will take place on Saturday, December 4th at 8am. The start and finish line will be outside Radnor Memorial Library, 114 West Wayne Avenue, Wayne, PA. The race will be professionally timed by Bryn Mawr Race Company. Prizes for the 5K will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each age group.

We’ve also planned a Fun Run (approximately 1 mile) for those who prefer to go a shorter distance! The Fun Run will begin immediately following the 5K start.

Move-a-thon (virtual event)
Log your mileage walking, running or riding a bike between November 20 – December 4 (2 weeks). You can participate anywhere! Get moving in your neighborhood, on the Radnor Trail, on a treadmill, or on Peloton! This event has something for everyone. Be sure to record your mileage on the Results page. Those who record the most mileage will be eligible for prizes!
