an introduction to citizen science and climate change reporting project
Phoenixville Public Library invites you to engage in a citizen science project to share your experiences and collect data to investigate the environment and help the community change. On Thursday, October 7 at 7:00 PM, the library will host a virtual introduction to ISeeChange. iSeeChange is an unprecedented national climate reporting project that uniquely combines citizen science, using public media to reach people and cutting edge weather data collection methods. Learn how you can participate in this free project that will give participants a chance to report from their own experiences and opportunities to connect to experts. SciStarter Program Manager Caroline Nickerson will give a brief introduction to citizen science and \”I See Change\”, and then attendees will be put in breakout rooms for a trained Verizon employee facilitator to lead you through the project and contribute to citizen science, live, during this virtual event.
