This annual event celebrates environmental stewardship and is a fundraiser for CRC’s many programs to support the health of local watersheds. In addition to a speaker there will be a silent auction.
The CRC Annual Environmental Awards Dinner takes place Sept. 30 at the Barn at Tyler Arboretum in Media. This annual event celebrates environmental stewardship by presenting awards to local organizations and individuals who have worked to support our watersheds in the last year. This year’s award winners are Harrah’s Philadelphia, Garrett Williamson, Michael McGraw and Kevin Magerr.
The dinner will feature a presentation by Michael Coll, Preserve Manager at Natural Lands’ Hildacy Preserve, about owls. A silent auction with varied items includes a canoe trip for four through the private Great Marsh preserve, a dday of trout fishing on the Upper Delaware River, an antique canoe, a basket of small batch bourbon and supplies, a wheelbarrow of beer, and many other fun items.
Tickets are $150. Cocktails start at 6 p.m. followed by the presentation at 7 p.m. For tickets please visit CRC’s web site at https://www.crcwatersheds.org
