A celebration of the annual World Helicopter Day, Sunday, August 15, from noon-4:30pm with public helicopter rides and premier rollout of the newly restored McCulloch J-2 Gyroplane.
The American Helicopter Museum and Education Center will celebrate World Helicopter Day on Sunday, August 15, from noon until 4:30 p.m. Two main events will make the day extra special: AHMEC’s first public helicopter rides since 2019 and the premier rollout of the newly restored McCulloch J-2 Gyroplane.
Helicopter rides cost $65.00 per person on a first-come, first-served basis. They can be purchased in advance via the website at www.americanhelicopter.museum or phone at 610-436-9600 or in the museum store.
