The Folk Tale Friends are back in this series of socially distanced, outdoor edu-tainment offerings for families with young children.
Two storytellers lead us through new interactive tales about caring, pride, and healing. Our adventures are inspired by South Asian, Korean, and Lenape folk tales – and science! Recommended for wigglers and gigglers ages 2 through 8, each 45-minute frolic full of audience participation will enchant the whole family.
Reservations are available by purchasing a “family circle.” These circles are clearly designated areas on the grass for up to 4 adults/children and 1 infant. Each reservation is $35 per group, regardless of the number of attendees. Cloth mats are provided, which are sanitized before each Folk Tales event. Sunscreen and hats are recommended. Lawn chairs and umbrellas are not permitted, as they obstruct the view for others.
People’s Light has its own large and well-lit parking lot, located on our property, with plenty of spaces for both the Leonard C. Haas and Steinbright theatres. Parking at People’s Light is always FREE.
Relaxed Performances – A welcoming environment that lets our patrons express themselves freely, without judgment or inhibition. These live theatre experiences invite and encourage individuals with autism, ADD, ADHD, dementia and sensory sensitivities to enjoy the performance in our “shush-free” zone.
