People’s Light opens it’s new, outdoor stage with an inaugural concert that will feature Grammy Award winner Dan Zanes and Haitian-American jazz vocalist Claudia Zanes performing folk and blues classics and more.
The Glen: home of our new, centrally-located outdoor stage, offers a more intimate experience than the Drive-In Concerts while still allowing for safe social distancing. People of all ages are invited to dance and sing along in a casual, party atmosphere.
Reservations are available in groups of 2 or 4 by purchasing a family circle on the grass for $35, which comfortably seats up to 4 adults/children and 1 infant, or a pair of chairs (provided by People’s Light) for $25. We recommend bringing sunscreen and hats, as well as a blanket to sit on if you purchase a family circle. Lawn chairs and umbrellas are not permitted in family circles, as they obstruct the view for others.
People’s Light has its own large and well-lit parking lot, located on our property, with plenty of spaces for both the Leonard C. Haas and Steinbright theatres. Parking at People’s Light is always FREE.
Relaxed Performances – A welcoming environment that lets our patrons express themselves freely, without judgment or inhibition. These live theatre experiences invite and encourage individuals with autism, ADD, ADHD, dementia and sensory sensitivities to enjoy the performance in our “shush-free” zone.
