Enjoy tours of public historic places such as Bartram Covered Bridge, Square Tavern, Paper Mill House, Octagonal School, and Newtown Square Friends’ Meeting. Outside activities on the Tavern Green include Lenni Lenape and Revolu-tionary War reenactors, 1700s food demos, sheep shearing and wool spinning, basket weaving, beekeeping, local artists painting and children\’s activities and crafts. Inside the Square Tavern, there’ll be an art exhibit and sale, and tours of the Tavern. Refreshments available will be tavern ham sandwiches, baked goods, ice cream and ale. The Benjamin West Gallery will offer presentations on West\’s life, and you’ll enjoy live period music inside and outside the Tavern.
