Evening Introductory Paper Marbling Workshop

Tuesday, August 18th

6:30PM – 9PM

(Malvern, PA) Historic Sugartown is excited to cautiously re-open its Book Bindery workshops with necessary precautions. Workshops are now limited to 4 participants and 1 instructor to maintain social distancing. All participants and instructors will be required to wear masks as well.  New health precaution details can be found at HistoricSugartown.org.

Anyone can learn to create marbled paper in this introductory evening workshop held in Historic Sugartown’s Bindery! Marbling is the art of floating and designing watercolors on a base fluid then permanently transferring the design to paper. Colonial Williamsburg-trained instructor, Ramon Townsend of ColonialBindery.com, will lead the class through the steps of this ancient art. Participants will take home their finished paper creations.

Workshop Admission: $45/Participant. Ages 8 and above are welcome. (Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). All supplies included. Pre-registration is required and space is limited to 4 participants.  Visit HistoricSugartown.org or call 610-640-2667 to register!
