The Opening Reception for the “We Can Be Heroes” Exhibition will be held on Friday, January 3, from 5:30-8:30pm.
The National Liberty Museum will present a multi-media art exhibition entitled “We Can Be Heroes,” opening on Friday, January 3 until Monday, February 3, 2020.
At the opening reception, light refreshments will be served, including Bowie-themed beer and whiskey. Live music will be provided by Patrick Bamburak, Chris Huff, and Bill Kern. There will also be a poetry reading by Adam McGovern and other poets, and a “Meet and Greet” with some of the original “Sigma Kids.” Additionally, there will be a Bowie-themed Pop-Up Shop featuring prints of artwork, the annual Philly Loves Bowie Week pin set, and other fun Bowie merchandise.
The event is FREE with general admission.
