Walk with the Chester Ridley Crum Watersheds Association October 20 through nature at the golden hour, that magical time just before sunset when the light is perfect for creating wonderful photos. The walk takes place at Willistown Township’s Okehocking Preserve, 5316 West Chester Pike, in Newtown Square from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The cost is $10 per person, which includes wine and cheese at the end of the walk, when we may watch the sun set over the preserve.
Our guide, Andy Shelter, has been taking photos since he was none and has done so on six continents, at 40,000 feet above the earth, and 1,000 feet below the sea. On the walk, Andy will share some basics of digital photography along with tips for improving photos with all types of cameras, including smartphones.
