The Black Powder Tavern, a historic restaurant in Wayne that dates back to the American Revolution, will host a special Paranormal Investigation Dinner on Wednesday, October 23, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. The event will include a three-course meal.
The dinner will reveal whether the Black Powder Tavern is, indeed, haunted; which spirits might be inhabiting the tavern; and what they might want. The event is part of the restaurant’s popular monthly Historical Dinner Series. Noted Media, Pa., paranormal investigator Laurie Hull will discuss results of her investigation of the tavern’s spiritual activity and teach dinner guests how to determine whether their houses are haunted and how to connect with spirits in the afterlife.
The event occurs at a time of the year when thoughts turn to Halloween tricks and treats. The question remains: Is there more to the Black Powder Tavern than its charming atmosphere, historical past and award-winning menu? The tavern welcomes guests to see for themselves the happenings inside it that defy easy explanation. Join the tavern team and Ms. Hull as she discusses ghosts and paranormal investigation techniques that will help patrons see that the tavern is, indeed, host to unseen guests!
The price is $45 (tax and gratuity included), seating is limited, and reservations are required. Call (610) 293-9333 to book your spot with us today.
