Free concerts in Rose Tree Park’s scenic outdoor amphitheater first began in 1975 as part of a two-year Bicentennial Celebration, and four decades later, The Summer Festival concert series remains a popular local tradition.
The series runs from mid-June to mid-August and provides residents many opportunities to take in top-notch entertainment of all kinds, from Classical to Cajun, Motown to Broadway, Doo Wop to Rock and Pop, and everything in between. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday through Sunday evenings, plus two morning children’s shows at 10:00 a.m.
The Summer Festival concerts are brought to you by Delaware County and the generous support of many sponsors. Admission and parking are free. Bring blankets and chairs for seating. Light concessions are available for sale, and picnics are welcome. Please remember that alcoholic beverages are prohibited throughout the park, and for everyone’s safety and comfort, pets and smoking must remain outside the amphitheater. Guests with leashed dogs are able to enjoy the shows from the periphery.
