Kick off the summer with outdoor art on display throughout the Village!
Spanning just over three weeks, Art in the Village will feature eight large-scale inflatable pieces—giant, vibrantly colorful heads that are part of the Janis Project created by internationally known artist Frank Hyder—located throughout the property as well as reproductions of paintings on view in the galleries of the James A. Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, which is the Village’s cultural collaborator for this event. Pieces from The Janis Project were also featured in an exhibition at the Michener Art Museum this past winter.
These outdoor art displays will complement the year-round art found in four Peddler’s Village galleries: Lachman Studio, Upstairs Gallery, Lighthouse Galleries, and Artisans Gallery.
During Art in the Village, guest will be able to find artistic “discoveries” in various places throughout the Village.
