Delaware County Symphony Features Guest Soloist Ms. Bethany Bobbs
The Delaware County Symphony concludes the 2018-2019 season with Suite from Masquerade by Aram Khachaturian followed by the soul searching Kabalevsky, Cello Concerto No. 1 in g minor performed by featured guest soloist Bethany Bobbs, Cello. Ms. Bobbs is the winner of the annual DCS Youth Concerto Competition. She made her cello solo debut at the age of 9 performing with the Cleveland Institute Chamber Orchestra.
The concert continues with Aida Act II Finale, Triumphal March and Ballet by Giuseppe Verdi, and concludes with the celebrated Symphony No. 1, “Spring” by Robert Schumann. Sunday, May 5 at 3:00 pm in the Meagher Theatre at Neumann University, Aston, PA. The theatre is handicapped accessible and there is ample free parking adjacent to the theatre.
