Join Marty Moss-Coane and Philadelphia’s own comedians Kristin Finger, Darryl Charles and Shannon Fahey for a Radio Times interview like none other. Be ready for laughs as Marty learns the basics of improv comedy and sets the stage for an evening of theatrics. Whether you’re an improv fanatic or have never seen a comedy improvisation show before, this event is for everyone!

Bios

Marty Moss-Coane

Marty Moss-Coane is host and executive producer of Radio Times, one of the most respected weekday interview programs in the Delaware Valley. Produced at WHYY, the region’s leading public broadcasting station, Radio Times with Marty Moss-Coanecelebrated 30 years on the airwaves in 2017. Marty believes guiding discussions fairly and accurately is imperative to educating and informing audiences. She has earned praise for her versatility and engaging conversations and interviews with both guests and callers during the daily, live, one-hour program, which covers social issues, public policy, books, films and more. She has received many accolades for excellence in radio, public service, public health and public affairs. A graduate of Temple University, Marty lives with her husband, clinical psychologist James Coane. Her son, Jesse, works in Manhattan and lives with his family in Brooklyn.

Kristin Finger

Kristin Finger has studied improv for the past 18 years and has been a member of CSz Philadelphia since 2007, where she is currently the education director. Her acting and improv training include Second City, Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, CSz Worldwide and The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. She has studied under Paul Scheer (The League), Seth Morris (Parks and Recreation), Jill Bernard, Jen Childs (1812 Productions), Tara DeFrancisco, Lauren Pritchard and Dave Jadico and has performed with Horatio Sanz. While in New York, Kristin performed stand-up in clubs including The Comedy Cellar and Standup NY alongside Jim Gaffigan and Dave Attell. Since its start in 2012, Kristin has been a part of shows at Figment Theater including Slasher, The Bright and Bold Beauty Box Hour, Stagefright, Origin Story, Detours, The Table and John Hughes High. She is part of Figment’s ensemble Playback and directs the ensemble The Avengers.

Darryl Charles

Darryl Charles is a comedian based mostly out of Philadelphia. He’s been seen on The Travel Channel’s “Mysteries At The Museum” and the Comedy Central web series “Delco Proper.” He does stand-up and has opened for a variety of better known performers like Adam Ferrara, Greg Fitzsimmons, Dave Attell, Patrice O’Neal and Dick Gregory. He performs improv comedy and has been a member of ComedySportz Philadelphia since 2011. He also teaches and coaches it. He is a sketch comedy writer and performer, doing most of that work with the sketch group The Layoff Kids. They have been featured on Funny or Die. He’s also the co-host of DTF: The Darryl and Timaree Funhour, the best sex-ed/comedy/gameshow in the known universe. He went to school for electrical engineering. That has nothing to do with the rest of this bio, but it’s neat to know.

Shannon Faley

Shannon Fahey is a writer, actor, and comedian from Philadelphia. Shannon is a proud member of Philly Improv Theatre’s (PHIT) House Sketch Team, “The Decoy,” and enjoys performing long-form improv with PHIT’s House Team, “Hooch.” Shannon is also a member of Good Good Comedy Theatre’s monthly comedy show, “Darlings.” Shannon has performed in numerous Philadelphia-based theatre festivals including: Black Friday Comedy Marathon, The Bechdel Test Fest, Philadelphia Women’s Theatre Festival, Philly Sketch Fest and Five Dollar Comedy Week. She has studied at The Second City in Chicago and The Philly Improv Theatre in Philadelphia.
