In one performance only, Lyric Fest and Opus Opera present Mahler’s symphonic vocal masterpiece, Das Lied von der Erde, here brought to life and intimately experienced with voice, piano and dance. International opera stars Bryan Hymel and Irini Kyriakidou return to Philadelphia and to Lyric Fest, joined by dancers, choreographer Rachel Speidel Little and pianist Laura Ward, who together offer this magnificent work (with supertitles) in the dramatic space of the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral.
