Northeast Philadelphia’s biggest outdoor movie series, presented by Riverfront North Partnership, is kicking off this Tuesday, July 17^th at the Bridesburg Recreation Center (4601 Richmond Street). The series will start off with a screening of family favorite “Despicable Me 3”. The movie will start at sundown and various kids activities will be available starting at 7:30pm. Councilman Bobby Henon’s office will be giving away water ice while supplies last, and the Philadelphia Insectarium & Butterfly Pavilion will be nearby for kids and adults alike to explore and learn about a number of critters and butterflies. *****If there is Rain, the movie will be moved inside of Bridesburg Rec in the gym. Movie will still start at around 8:15. If there is rain, due to limited space, pre-movie kids activities will not be available.
