Pints in the Square is returning to the Ellis Preserve Property on September 22, 2018. Pints in the Square is a 5k run/walk through the beautiful Ellis Preserve and a craft brew festival.  There will be live music, local food vendors, over 25 local and regional craft breweries, as well as a timed 5k walk/run through the preserve.  On behalf of Pints in the Square, a volunteer run non-profit organization dedicated to promoting local businesses and fostering positive community relationships, I am pleased to announce that ticket sales have been made available.

Join us this year and have another fantastic time, this will be the third annual Pints in the Square.  Last September was our second resoundingly successful event.  Residents of Newtown Square and surrounding areas turned out in droves for a fabulous, fun day. More than 300 walkers and runners participated in the 5k and over 700 beer lovers sampled products from more than 25 different craft brewers. We received many compliments from last year’s participants as well as some suggestions, which we will heed to make this year’s event even better. Last year, most our ticket sales came from Newtown Square, Broomall and neighboring communities within Chester and Delaware County. The net proceeds from this event again will benefit the Newtown Square Fire Company No. 1, a 501c3 non-profit organization.

As we have begun planning for Pints in the Square 2018, most of the breweries who attended last year have already expressed interest in participating again, as have many sponsors and vendors.  Get your tickets early as we anticipate another sell out this year.  See our website at www.pintsinthesquare.com for more information, to purchase tickets to this year’s events, as well as photos from previous year’s Brew Fest and 5k.
