Widely referred to as the 33rd County of Ireland, the Havertown celebration will feature all things Irish in music, dance, cuisine, craft, and culture. The Havertown Irish Festival will take place Saturday, June 23, 2018 in the rear parking lot of the Manoa Shopping Center on West Chester Pike in Havertown, Delaware County, PA. The Havertown Irish Festival is presented by Kelly Music for Life, a 501c3 non-profit member of the Haverford Township Civic Council. Kelly Music for Life produces events for the benefit of community. Proceeds will benefit local youth music education, music programs, food banks and our initiative to open a performance and art venue in Haverford Township.

Is it Kid Friendly?

YES!  There will be crafts and activities for children.

Is Parking Available?

Vehicle Parking is limited.  We encourage public transportation or walking to the festival.  The front lot of the Manoa Shopping Center will be reserved for tenant customer parking only.  No festival parking.  There is FREE parking on the streets in the surrounding neighborhoods.  If parking on the street, please be courteous to homeowners.  Do not block driveways or park on posted streets.  Your car may be ticketed and/or towed.

Is there Bicycle Parking?

Bicycle riders may lock their bikes, skateboards, scooters, wagons and other wheeled items in the designated corral prior to entering the Festival.  Wheeled items other than infant strollers are not permitted on Manoa Shopping Center property.

What are the Restrictions?

Festival attendees are not permitted to bring illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, glass containers, weapons, explosives or fireworks into the event.  All bags, backpacks and containers will be inspected at entry by private security.  Haverford Township Police will be present.  Pets, skateboards, scooters, wagons, tricycles and bicycles are not permitted on the Manoa Shopping Center property.  Check all wheeled items at the Bike Corral prior to entry.  Infant strollers are permitted inside the festival area.  Unauthorized solicitation is strictly prohibited.

Will there be Beer and Wine?

Alcoholic beverages may not be carried into the event.  All bags, backpacks and containers will be inspected at entry.  The Irish Festival Pub will sell beer and wine inside the Festival Marketplace.  Attendees who are 21 or older may purchase and carry it around the restricted festival area.   Proper ID will be required.  Alcoholic beverages are not permitted outside the restricted festival area.  Sales will end at 9 pm.
