Continuing the rich tradition of working outdoors in the Brandywine Valley landscape, a selection of 25 artists juried by the Philadelphia Water Color Society will spend three days painting en plein air at the Brandywine River Museum of Art.
Visitors are invited to watch and meet artists at work during their museum visit and on select tours of the N. C. Wyeth House & Studio and the Andrew Wyeth Studio. In case of inclement weather, artists will set up in protected areas (such as porches) for viewing. Work created during the event will be available for purchase at the Chadds Ford Historical Society.
Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors (65+), $6 for students and children aged 6-18, and free for children under 5 and Brandywine River Museum members. Tickets for the historic property tours are $8.
