The Baptist Church in the Great Valley (Devon) is excited to be hosting two world-class storytellers for a special performance.
The performers, Noa Baum, an award-winning Jewish author and storyteller; and Arif Choudhury, a celebrated Muslim storyteller, filmmaker and writer, deliver an exciting interfaith program, which we see as a secular event with a spiritual message about understanding and peace.
Noa Baum is the author of the internationally acclaimed, “A Land Twice Promised – An Israeli Woman’s Quest For Peace. She is an award-winning storyteller, educator and public speaker performing for audiences of The World Bank, universities, congregations, festivals, government agencies, schools and detention centers.
Arif Choudhury is a professional storyteller, stand-up comic, author, filmmaker and teacher. His stories poke fun at how we think of one another, focusing on issues of ethnic and religious identity, assimilation, multi-culturism and diversity. He performs for schools, libraries, conferences and festivals in North America and abroad.
Tickets are $14 with a $1.70 service fee and can be bought online.
