Hi Neighbor!

Spring has finally Sprung on the Main Line…or has it?  The weather sure has been all over the place these past few weeks! Warm and 70 degrees one day, snow showers the next – CRAZY!

Now that we’ve “Sprung Forward”, and the days are lighter longer, I am hoping that the warmer weather will come and stay so I can get outside and enjoy Spring along the Mainline!

One of the places I’m most looking forwarding to visiting this spring is Chanticleer Garden. I’ve lived in Bryn Mawr for over 20 years, and I have never visited this Mainline treasure!

Chanticleer is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and is considered to be one of the greatest gardens in our region. It has also been called “the most romantic, imaginative, and exciting public garden in America”. That description alone had me intrigued, but after learning more about the gardens at the very creative 30 Years of Artistry at Chanticleer art exhibit, held at the Wayne Art Center a few weeks ago, I knew that a tour of these gardens needed to move to the top of my Must See List! Chanticleer is open from March – November and I am hoping to visit this weekend to kick off my Spring season by seeing what’s in bloom.

If you are like me and eager to get out of the house to enjoy some springtime fun, be sure to check out our online calendar.  It’s chock full of local events for springtime and beyond. From spring bloom sightings, garden tours, and egg hunts, to festivals, concerts, art exhibits and museums, our online calendar has something fun for everyone!

Springing into the season,
