Free family event will highlight the history and customs of Hanukkah, including stories of communities standing up for their Jewish neighbors at Hanukkah. We will also explore the history and customs of Kwanzaa, an African-American celebration of heritage, culture, and community with educator Elaine Johnson. Included will be a light-themed take-home craft activity. The event will culminate with the lighting of both the Kinara and the Hanukkah menorah.
