Hi Neighbor,

My season has arrived!  Fall-la-la-la-laaa-la-la-la-la.  The days between back-to-school and Thanksgiving are my absolute favorite.  The air gets crisper and cooler.  The leaves put on a magnificent show.  The pumpkins get picked and carved.  The corn mazes are explored.  The apples get picked and baked and pressed and sling-shotted.  Pumpkin spice takes over shelves and menus (yum).  Cozy throws get flung over the back of wing chairs and sofas.  Fire pits send smoky swirls into the evening air.  Sounds of football spill out of open windows on weekend afternoons.  Ah, fall.  Sigh.

While the season has only just barely kicked off, I’ve already stocked my house with my favorite autumn staples and I thought I’d share some of them with you (sharing is caring, right?!).

Here goes:

Aldi’s Friendly Farms Limited Batch Greek Yogurt : If you like Greek yogurt and fall-inspired flavors, hop in your car and head to grab this right this instant.  They are SO good.  And, a little tip – once we get a little bit closer to Thanksgiving they’ll add eggnog and cranberry to the flavor selection!

Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Biscotti:  I’ve tried a lot of pumpkin biscotti, and this version is by far my favorite.  Nice and crunchy, sweet and little spicy – grab yourself a hot cup of tea or coffee and enjoy!

Aldi’s Priano Butternut Sqaush Ravioi:  These are SO good.  Grab a jar of turkey gravy (add some rosemary and little dash of black pepper) to use as “sauce” on these, and you’ll want to lick your plate clean.

Williams Sonoma Pecan Pumpkin Butter:  Really, I could just eat this by the spoonful, but it’s delicious on thick cut toast with butter or cream cheese.  I love it on cinnamon raisin toast, too!

Aldi Reggano Fall Shaped Pasta :  In our house, seasonally shaped pasta is a must (I mean, how festive?!).  These “fall” noodles are new this year.  I’m normally quick to pick up the Halloween shaped (coming soon I’m sure), but these are such a cute little introduction to fall!

Halo Top Pumpkin Pie Limited Edition Ice Cream:  I feel a little bit less guilty if I overdulge on this one – it IS light, after all!  So, practically a health food!

Land O Lakes Pumpkin Pie Spice Butter Spread:  There isn’t much to say about this except “yum.”  I love it on cinnamon raisin toast or a toasted cinnamon raisin bagel (I think Giant makes awesome bagels!).

Pumpkin Spice Cheerios: This cereal doesn’t last long in our house.  It gets eaten with milk and straight out of the box as a snack.  If you like cereal and pumpkin stuff, you need this in your pantry!

Aldi Emporium Selection Cranberry White Cheddar Cheese: I look forward to this every year!  It’s the perfect addition to a fall or holiday charcuterie board!

No time to waste!  Stock your pantry and dive into fall – the sights, smells and tastes won’t stick around for long!

Pumpkin Spiced Regards,

Kim
