Hi Neighbor!

“This is why we can’t have nice things.” I’ve said this phrase many times over the years, in the past because of my children, but more recently it’s due to my 19 and 22 pound French Bull Dogs. When my kids were young I thought, “I’ll just wait until they’re grown to have nice things.”

My kids are grown and I’m still waiting.

My two adorable, little dogs are homewreckers. I have literally bought the same carpet from Home Depot 5 times because of their “accidents” that happen when we are out for just a little too long. My husband wonders why have carpets? I’m sorry, but I refuse to lose all control.

I think I may have the carpet dilemma solved. I guess after complaining out loud to my family Instagram heard me and started serving up Tumble ads. Tumble makes washable carpets that are spill proof and are good for kids and pets. Brilliant!

So, I ordered one, but it went to the wrong address. Not quite sure how that happened but when I emailed customer service they said “No problem, we’ll ship you another.” That sold me on this company.

I got my carpet this week and it looks great. I’m curious how it will wash up when my dog has an accident. Of course, now that I have this amazing washable carpet it won’t happen again. Mumford will probably start chewing our dining room table instead.

I have dogs instead of nice things. And I’m OK with it. 🐶
