Hi Neighbor!
Like it or not, Halloween is happening and while I’m not going to bug you about costumes or candy (that’s what kids are for!), I do want to discuss another important matter: scary movies.

Now I’m aware there’s not much middle ground here. (Seriously, when’s the last time someone told you they “sort of” liked scary movies, or “might” be in the mood to watch one?!?) We’re a divided house; my husband hates them, and I love them. I am picky, however, and I refuse to watch remakes or anything in the Saw franchise.

The other day my middle daughter asked me to describe the scariest movie I’ve ever seen (as if the real world isn’t scary enough these days). It was hard to pick just one, so I made a list of my favorites. If you’re like my husband, feel free to stop here, grab a pumpkin-spiced something and head to the nearest apple orchard. For those still reading, here are my top picks for a Halloween movie marathon in no particular order. Some are oldies (but goodies!); all are guaranteed to make your heart race and muscles tense.
