Hello Neighbor!

This year has certainly given all of us time to pause.  And pause.  And pause some more. 🙂   Like many of you, I have spent the last 9 months of this pause trying new ways to “get through a pandemic”.   I started in March by cleaning out closets, the garage, and the shed.  The kitchen cabinets and drawers were next… then bedroom dressers and lastly, the mudroom.  I then decided it might be fun to get into some puzzles (something I was not into prior), only to find that puzzles now go for $89 a pop!  Ok, so maybe that’s a little exaggerated… but so many people clearly had this same great idea that puzzles truly are now like minted gold bars.  Very hard to come by!   After puzzles I then went on to other new creative outlets.  I’ve cooked new recipes, signed up for zoom workshops, had zoom get togethers with friends, and tried all sorts of new exercise routines. I tried it all last winter.

Then, as the weather started to get better I was onto outside projects and (thank goodness) was able to spend more time with family and friends outside – socially distanced of course.  And boy did that feel good!  Felt human!  Now, we are once again getting back into winter and an uptick in the numbers are upon us… guess it’s time to think about some new creative ways to get through the next few months. Hmmm… what in the world is left to try?!

Well, I’ve always wanted to learn how to pick a lock, light a match with just one hand, make a kick-butt paper airplane, and of course pen twirling!  Guess there really is no time like the present!

Time to get creative again!
