Hi Neighbor!

So many people I speak to think they may have had COVID. My husband is convinced because he had pneumonia in January. And he may have had it!
My son is in South Carolina, where they opened up much earlier than here. He and several of his friends were exposed to someone who tested positive. Luckily he felt completely fine but he got tested. He ended up testing positive with zero symptoms. We were lucky. He quarantined for 14 days and retested at day 20 and was negative.

We’re all fatigued with staying home, wearing masks, washing hands, not hugging (I really miss hugging), distancing, and not being able to do our normal everyday activities. Everyone just wants to go back to normal. Me too! But I have to keep reminding myself that the virus is not going anywhere for now, anyone can have it and some may not even know they have it and could be contagious. There are people who are out there sacrificing way more than me, so I have to tell myself to stop whining and just be smart!

We’ve gathered some in-person events below for those neighbors that feel comfortable going out. We also have ideas for virtual fun on our website if you are not quite ready.

Stay safe and be well!
